How to apply...
You can add your child's name to the waiting list for Little Tanglewood and Tanglewood from the age of 1.

Our waiting lists are updated regularly and as soon as a place becomes available in either Little Tanglewood or Tanglewood our Admissions Officer, Tania Parry will contact you. Please keep your contact details current to avoid any disappointment should we be unable to contact you.
Places are offered for the beginning of each term within the school year, September, January and April subject to availability.
Little Tanglewood
Your child can start in Little Tanglewood, from the age of 2 if accepting a paid place or the term after they are 2, if they are accepting a funded place depending on availability at the time of offer.
Tanglewood
When your child is allocated a place in Tanglewood, they will start, fully funded, the term after they are 3. To be able to access your funding children need to attend 5 sessions a week, either 5 mornings or 5 afternoons
Funding & Fees
Little Tanglewood - Our Offer
In Little Tanglewood we offer between 2-5 morning or afternoon sessions per week, depending on availability and what would suit your child.
Paid Places - The cost of each 3 hour session is £24.00 with a minimum of two sessions a week. Fees are paid monthly a month in advance. Sessions will rise to £24.50 inline with Government funding in September 2025.
Funded Places - Some 2 year old children are eligible for 15 hours free funding. To find out if you are eligible click on this link - Apply for 2 year old funding
Working Parents Funding - If you think you are eligible please visit - Apply for working parents funding You must apply for funding the term before your child starts, you will need to renew this very three months. Please email your code and and NI number as soon as you receive it.
Tanglewood - Our Offer
In Tanglewood we offer 5 morning sessions 9am - 12noon or 5 afternoon sessions 12.45pm - 3.45pm per week, depending on availability with a limited number of full days 9am - 3.45pm
We provide 15 fully funded hours for all 3-4 year old's. (5 x 3 hours, either morning or afternoon)
We now offer a limited number of extended days for children in main Tanglewood. These sessions are on top of your core 5 mornings or afternoons a week. Click here for more details - Extended days - Parents Information
Sessions can be paid for, £29.50 each with a minimum of two extra sessions per week. Sessions will increase to £32.50 inline with government funding for September 2025. (Lunchtime is included, but bring a healthy nut-free packed lunch) These sessions must be paid for monthly, a month in advance or they can be used with your working funding. - Apply for working parents funding
If extending sessions Private fund of £1 a session will increase to £2 for all day.
Little Tanglewood & Tanglewood - Private Fund
We ask for a contribution of £1 per session (£5.00 per week, more if using the extended offer facility. ) for children in both Tanglewood and Little Tanglewood.
This enables us to provide a daily fresh fruit snack, a wide selection of ingredients so that children can enjoy cooking as a whole class or in small groups as well as ingredients for our daily messy play activities such a playdough, slime, cornflour or shaving foam. These activities are vital for children’s sensory and fine motor skills which all need to be developed before a child learns to write.
You can pay Private Fund weekly, half termly or termly, either by cash at the office or by bank transfer.
