Primary School Applications for September 2026
Online applications will open in November 2025 with Essex County Council for you to apply for your child's primary school if they will be 4 on or before 31st August 2026 . All applications must be submitted in January 2026 and you will be notified of your child's allocated school in April 2026.
Contact your local schools during the Autumn term for a tour of their school before making your choices.

School Uniform
Uniform is not compulsory at Tanglewood or Little Tanglewood but you do have the option to order polo shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces and coats.
Some parents choose for their child to wear uniform as we do get messy so the tops save your everyday clothes from getting spoilt and we go out to play in all weathers everyday, the winter coat is fleece lined and waterproof so a great option.
