If  you have concerns about your child's speech you can make a self referral to Provide Speech & Language Therapy Services.  Children need to be between  2 years  and 6 moths up until the start of their reception year.

Look on the website (link above) to  find a Communication Station in your area, you will need to  ring  0300 303 9960 on the morning of the setting you would like to attend at 8am sharp to book a 15 minute appointment for your child,  please note places are limited.   If there is availability you will be given a time that day for your child to be assessed. These appointments cannot be booked in advance. 

Communication Stations are held at Tanglewood Nursery School Chelmsford,  Woodcroft Nursery school Chelmsford,  Stapleford House Children's Centre Chelmsford as well as other centres in Witham, Maldon, Halstead and Braintree .
