Applying for a Primary School Place for your child

Essex County Council will open online primary school applications in November 2025.  You should apply online for your child's primary school place if your child will be 4 years old on or before 31st August 2026. 

Primary Schools will be offering tours during the Autumn term, ring them to book a place to have a look round before making your choices of schools for your online application. 

All school applications for September 2026 MUST be submitted by 15th January 2026  and you will  be notified of your child's allocated school on 16th April 2026
